  10. XferPro will run under Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups 3.1/3.11,
  11. Windows 95 and Windows NT. Note that long filenames are not supported.
  12. XferPro will not run under Windows 3.0.

  14. This package contains the following files:

  16. README.TXT      Important information and updates about XFERPRO.
  17. WHATSNEW.TXT    New features and bug fixes in this version of XFERPRO.
  18. SETUP.EXE       Automated installation utility.
  19. SETUP.INF       Installation file required by SETUP.EXE.
  20. XFERPRO.EXE     The executable XFERPRO program.
  21. XFERPRO.HLP     The on-line help file for XFERPRO.  This includes the 
  22.                 shareware license information as well as an order form.
  23. WHIO3.DLL       A support dynamic link library for file I/O.
  24. BARCTL.DLL      A support dynamic link library for the progress indicator.
  25. FILE_ID.DIZ     Assists in BBS distribution of this program.

  28. *** How to distribute ***
  29. You must keep all files as indicated above and name the zipped
  30. archive as XFERP111.ZIP. You may add one file indicating the
  31. distributor of the program. No other files may be changed or
  32. deleted.

  34. *** New installation of XferPro ***
  35. Change to the drive/directory where the XferPro files are
  36. located and run SETUP.EXE. You must be in Windows to run setup.
  37. Make sure the destination directory for installation is different
  38. than the directory containing the above mentioned setup files.

  40. *** Upgrade installation of XferPro ***
  41. Change to the drive/directory where the XferPro files are
  42. located and run SETUP.EXE. You must be in Windows to run setup.
  43. Choose the install directory to be the same as the current
  44. installation so as to overwrite the old version with this
  45. newer version. All the configuration options and registration
  46. information will be preserved. Make sure the destination directory
  47. for installation is different than the directory containing the
  48. above mentioned setup files.

  50. *** De-installing XferPro ***
  51. Just remove the directory where the XferPro files are
  52. located. In the Windows directory, remove the BARCTL.DLL
  53. and WHIO3.DLL files.
